Diamonds in the Sky - EPP Galore

I was naughty. Last month when I first linked up to the In Hand EPP link party I said I was not going to start another EPP project... that I was going to limit myself this year. Woops!

Enter Tula Pink's Diamonds in the Sky EPP Quilt Kit.

As soon as I saw it I knew I had to have it. Best of all, it's all precut! Every diamond, every hexagon, is all already cut out for you. All you have to do is start basting and stitching! As a testament to how much easier this makes things, this beautiful quilt kit only entered my life on Tuesday and I have already completed the first of 13 rows.

The fabrics are from her Acacia line. I had been dying to get my hands on some of it but her fabrics can be so hard to get locally in Australia. Hence I could not resist buying this kit when I saw it.

I have not been totally neglecting my other EPP projects from last month. While the Kaffe Fasset Rose Star blocks have stalled while waiting for me to make more templates, the Diamond 2" hexagons have taken off, with five blocks out of 12 completed. Which means I'm practically halfway.

  2. that kit was definitely a Must Have! i can't believe you've done so much already. =) and good job on your hexi diamonds - almost half way! i am barely into the first 10th after more than 6 months.
